Para[site]

A parasitic installation which embodies the concept of the brain as a parasite to the body, exploring the interplay between the physical and mental space.

Fleeing outside of Curtin University’s 201 building, the parasite impedes access by means of four ply wood panels with cut out embodiments of the physical and psychological transition from chaos to calm. The parasite explores poetics of space and time to intercept overthinking. As I traverse through each threshold, I ‘shape’ the navigation and orientation towards clarity and calm.
